Key Benefits

Amateur Radio Digital Communications web site Please read this background Information.

The Revised AMPRNet Portal is now operational.

The AMPRNet Portal access is open to all licenced radio amateurs involved in packet radio and
data communications throughout the World.

This is the original IP AMPRNET MESH Network currently consisting of 600+ connected IP
Amateur Radio network gateways.

Here is a message to all AMPRNet (AMateurPacketRadioNETwork) users past present and future.

Some of you may have had an IP Assignment in the 44.xx.xx.xx allocation or even gateways or entire subnets.
In the UK the addresses are currently assigned in the 44.131.x.x range.

Please re-register your allocations if you wish to keep them.
If you can not remember your UK Assigned IP address, then contact G4APL who may be able to assist you.
You will need to log on to the portal at least once a year to automatically validate
your current allocation on the AMPRNet Portal.
Failure to logon to the Portal within a twelve month period, your entries will be automatically deleted.

AMPRNet has migrated to a more robust management system and is in the midst of a network allocation cleanup.

Please register your AMPRNET IP address or network at

If you are interested in an IP assignment please register at the new portal as well.

I will be continue auditing the amprnet DNS entries that are assign to me to co-ordinate against the RSGB call book, and my local knowledge to remove entries deemed not active, Silent Key or moved away from the subnet region.
Many thanks
